Alba West Custom and Classic Bike Show 2009 |
Drymen, June 2009 The Alba West Custom and Classic Bike Show is always a blast and we're sure that this year will be no different. Area 51 Custom Cycles will be there in force - it's not only a great opportunity to show off our custom motorcycles but also gives us a chance to let our hair down. Well ... perhaps if any of us actually had any hair - but anyway, stop by for a chat or a beer or whatever.
The purpose of Alba West is: to organise and hold events, such as the Alba West Custom and Classic Bike Show, for the benefit of motorcyclists with a disability; to enable them and their families to socialise with other motorcyclists and the general public without stigma; to ensure that disabled access and facilities are available at such events; to encourage and promote new and young musicians i.e bands/groups to play at such events and to supply specialist equipment to disabled motorcyclists. Alba West is open to anyone who likes motorbikes, music and a bit of a party. Disabled people gain entry free and they make sure there are disabled facilities and a wheelchair friendly environment wherever possible. |

It's that time of year again when we'll be joining the rest of the happy band in the Thunder in the Glens rally in Aviemore from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August. The rally, the biggest of its kind in Scotland, attracts literally 1,000's of enthusiasts from all corners of the globe to converge on the Scottish Highlands for music, drinks and general merriment. So if you're heading that way look out for us. |
